Joe And Tom write about 90% of Cripple Creeks oringinal material. They have been collaborating on songs with Joe writing the lyrics and Tommy composing the music, although they change roles on occasion.

   Inspiration for the songs comes in a lot of different ways. Some of them are from personal experiences, some are from phases I heard somebody say, some are from book titles and some just came out of no-where.

    Below are the lyrics for the songs that are on our song page with a whole lot more thrown in for good measure.Each song is a miniature story so we hope you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoyed writing them.
